Senior Instructional Designer Christine Moskell offers lessons she’s learned about how colleges can tap staff members’ expertise and harness their full potential.

On June 6, Career Services concluded its second annual Job Skills Accelerator (JSA) program: a four-week immersion designed to equip students with in-demand skills through alumni partnerships, microcredential courses, and professional workshops.   

A new 65,000-square-foot basketball and volleyball arena will anchor a new athletics quadrangle at èצӰ��, replacing the Reid Athletics Center. Construction of the facility, part of the University’s Third-Century Plan initiatives, is slated to begin in February.

èצӰ�� recognized 730 students for earning an A.B. degree, plus 6 master of arts in teaching and one master of arts, during Commencement Weekend 2024, May 17–19. Financier-turned-human-rights-activist and author Bill Browder gave the commencement address.

During its spring meetings, the èצӰ�� Board of Trustees approved resolutions regarding faculty promotions to associate professor with continuous tenure and to full professor, as well as appointments to named chairs — all of which will take effect July 1, 2024.

èצӰ�� recently hosted a lecture by Avery Trufelman, host of the fashion podcast Articles of Interest.

èצӰ�� Residential Commons will welcome new co-directors at the beginning of the 2024–25 academic year.

New York Times correspondent David Sanger, a three-time Pulitzer Prize winner, visited èצӰ�� on March 26 for a lecture and discussion about his new book.

èצӰ�� will host an episode of Ivory Tower April 17 in èצӰ�� Memorial Chapel.

èצӰ��'s second annual celebration of arts, creativity, and innovation brought hundreds to campus for a weekend of performances, workshops, presentations, and panel discussions.
